Barry L. Seiller, M.D. is a LASIK Surgeon in Chicago and the Founder of The Eye Care Center of Lake County where he performs LASIK in Chicago, Custom LASIK and other types of specialized Lasik Eye Surgery in Chicago. Dr. Seiller received his Medical Degree at the Stritch School of Medicine of Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Seiller has been serving the eye care needs of patients in the Greater Chicago & Southern Wisconsin area for over 35 years. He has been using the Excimer Laser to perform Laser Eye Surgery in Chicago since its FDA approval in 1995 and performing LASIK Eye Surgery in Illinois since its FDA approval as well. Dr. Seiller provides Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK & Custom Lasik Eye Surgery at the offices of The Eye Care Center of Lake County in Vernon Hills, Lake Villa and Waukegan Illinois. Dr. Seiller is also the Founder of the Visual Fitness Institute and President of the Vizual Edge Corporation. Dr. Seiller is involved in many civic organizations including Little Fort Lions Club, and was the Founder of the Lake County Races benefiting the Illinois Special Olympics.
Dr. Seiller is the Director of Visual Performance Program of the U.S. Olympic Luge, Skeleton and Bobsled Teams, Vision Consultant to the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds and Founder of the Vision Performance Center at Georgia Tech. In that capacity he is the LASIK surgeon who routinely performs LASIK in Illinois on Olympic hopefuls as well as Olympic Medallists and elite athletes.
